In Switzerland you pay a visitors' tax, and you may wonder what happens to the money. The visitors' tax is used by the tourist associations for the improvement of the infrastructure (for example maintenance of hiking trails, children's playground, park benches, signpost, visitors' animation programmes. etc.) The Saas-Fee visitors' tax is included on your bill at the end of you stay.

The visitor's tax is included on your bill at the end of your stay; for hotel guests, it is included in the price.

Please ask your host for your guest card on your first day - you can profit from a number of reductions.
Reductions with the Saas-Fee/Saas Valley visitor's card
- approx. 30-60% reduction on parking fees (depending on length of stay, from the 2nd day)
- approx. 10% on all indiv. journey on the Saas-Fee/Almagell, Hohsaas mountain transport system
- approx. 15% reduction on paying events organised by the tourist office (concerts etc.)
- 10% reduction on the purchase of souvenir articles in the tourist offices of Saas-Grund/Almagell
- 10% reduction on excursions with Pauli-Reisen and the Imseng travel agency
- 10% reduction on excursions with the post bus in the Saas Valley
- approx. 12% reduction on the Saas-Fee "Feeblitz" Bob-Sleigh Run
- approx. 8-10% reduction at the Bielen leisure centre
- 10% reduction on the wellness facilities, Saas-Almagell
- 10% reduction at the "Creativ Design Kämpfen" Internet corner, Saas-Grund
- 15% reduction on the Adventure forest, Saas-Fee
Further reductions
- the tennis courts in the entire Saas Valley
- the mini-golf courses in the entire Saas Valley
- the steam bath, sauna, jacuzzi and solarium in various hotels in the Saas Valley
- the Saas Museum, Saas-Fee
Further reductions in various shops and providers of services in the Saas Valley on request.
Guest honour
Fidelity of guests is the best visiting card of a holiday region. We are glad that amongst those guests of the Saas Valley there are many regular guests. Such fidelity shall be rewarded! After 10 years of guest fidelity we honour you with a little present. We honour our guests after 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 years as well. |
