The winter snow sports area in the Saas Valley with its more than 145 km of groomed pistes has something special for everyone: wide, smooth pistes for carvers, moguls pistes for experts, flat pistes for beginners.

| The great advantage of the Saas Valley's snow sports area is that it has guaranteed snow. Because of its high altitude with pistes up to 3600 m above sea-level and the ski area on the glacier, we have guaranteed skiing and snowboarding all year round. All pistes which are not on the glacier have snow-making with 80 snow-cannons. The runs back down to the resorts can be maintained without the use of chemicals until the end of the season.
Snowboarders and freestyle skiers will find their own little paradise in the Freestyle Park at the Mittelallalin. The park is groomed all year, with a half-pipe, kickers and rails. You can also relax on a comfortable couch to the sound of good music in the "Chill Zone". Age limit for children and juveniles: Children born in 2001 and later, accompanied by an adult, ski for free. Exception: In Saas-Balen children under 6 years of age pay the normal rate for children. There are also special prices for children born between 2000-1994 and for juveniles born between 1993-1992.

Night-time skiing in Saas-Grund
Every thursday evening from 7.30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
From 19.12.09 to 16.04.10, depending on snow conditions.
Special night event at the village elevator "Ziebel". An attendance is worthwhile! A small bar with food and drinks is open during the regular opening hours of the lift.

The piste in the village of Saas-Balen can be skied by anyone.

Torch Ski Run for guests in Saas-Almagell
Every thursday evening at 8 p.m.
The Swiss snow sports school Saas-Almagell invites you to an adventurous torch ski run.
Children allowed ONLY when supervised by adults. Min. 10 pers.

Flaming torch-light procession Snow & Style presented by the Saas-Fee Ski- and Snowboard school
A special night spectacle including a great show. After a torch-light procession set against magnificent mountain scenery the ski and snowboard instructors will be presenting a sensational act with an artistic flair.
This sporty event can be enjoyed on the following dates starting at 8.30 p.m. at the sports arena Kalbermatten:

Every thursday at 10.30 a.m.
Measure yourself in skiing or snowboarding with your family and friends! The ski race for guests in the ski area Mittelwald in Saas-Almagell guarantees a lot of fun. Start numbers are given at 9.45 a.m.
